
Lauren Griffiths is an award-winning jewellery designer and the founder of Little Joy Jewellery.

A Fairtrade certified and fully qualified goldsmith, Lauren learnt her craft in Birmingham’s renowned Jewellery Quarter before launching her habour-side studio in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight.
MINIMAL.
Passionate about artisanal techniques and using sustainable materials, Lauren makes minimalist, fairtrade pieces with a raw, contemporary aesthetic.She combines stripped-back design with age-old methods of jewellery making to create modern pieces with timeless appeal.
Drawing inspiration from the minimal lines that occur in the natural world, with Little Joy Jewellery, Lauren has developed a distinctive style that’s both simple and intricate.
MINDFUL.
Little Joy was founded upon the principles of minimalism, mindfulness and the art of slow-living. As such, Lauren is committed to responsibly sourcing every element in the Little Joy business, from Fairtrade precious metals and GIA certified diamonds, to recycled packaging and her wooden ring boxes, that are made from the offcuts from renowned furniture makers Byron & Gomez.
ARTISANAL.
Each hand-crafted piece is a work of art and heart. There is intention and meaning behind each piece, whether it’s a necklace from the Little Joy collection, a bespoke creation, a secret engraving or a custom piece that’s reimagined from inherited jewels. Ultimately Lauren’s aim is to spread everyday joy with handmade fine jewellery that’s mindfully made.

Jo has become an integral Part to the Little Joy studio, she concentrates on our repairs & resizing services with her amazing lazer welding expertise!
Discovering jewellery during her formative years at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Jo Pond progressed through Berkshire and Loughborough Colleges of Art & Design, establishing her design process some years later, during her Masters at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham.
She was awarded for her Narrative Jewellery Collection, winning the 2005 BDI Industry & Genius Awards in the category of Products and Genius. Her work has been exhibited internationally, showcased at selected exhibitions such as Schmuck in Munich, the V&A Museum London, Price Tower Arts Centre Oklahoma, Galerie Rob Koudijs Amsterdam, Velvet da Vinci San Francisco and Contemporary Applied Arts in London.
Born in Chiswick, London, Jo is now based in rural Derbyshire. After lecturing at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham for fourteen years and becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she now works full-time as a studio jeweller.

// Peter Harris

Peter has been hand engraving since 1972, upon his apprenticeship at RH Wilkins Ltd of Hatton Garden. He is now based upon the Isle of Wight & local to the harbour side Little Joy Studio. Peter hand engraves each piece, with care and precision. He's a well known & well established hand engraver, even known for his work upon such pieces at the Navy Bell & famous cups. We are so honoured to have Peter’s fine craftsmanship be a part of the Little Joy team.
